Hellen Keller, Albert Einstein, Susan B Anthony, John Steinbeck, Upton Sinclair. All were socialists. Proud to be socialist. Glenn Beck and his McCarthyites making pathetic amateur videos on youtube shouldn't scare anyone from such an identity. There is a great history of socialism in America.
