If you want to go back to the good old days then you need to have a cow and milk it yourself and don't keep the milk for the next day. And don't forget to strain it. Also to be even more authentic don't forget to downgrade your modern kitchen and go back to a water pump, wood burning stove and forget the indoor plumbing. This is pathetic. My husband grew up on the farm and that is how you do the milk. It won't keep like pasteurized milk. Oh and no microwaves either or electricity.
hello i have a quick question. Does it matter if I buy jersey cow milk or goat milk? My local dairy farmer offers both types. But goat milk is more expensive than the jersey cow milk.
Bos Indicus are all A2 and so are goats....A1 is present in 50% (just a figure) of all bos taurus...there's no way to tell the status without testing the cow....the cream line varies with the species....
Thanks so much. I knew something was up in taste. I hate the water down version. Even though its organic raw milk it tastes just like store whole milk. Go Jersey!
you were alive in the 60's?? you look great for your age then

My god. She said Guernsey correctly! I've heard a few yanks say it in some weird bizarre way! Probably because they have no idea where Guernsey is!
