I always thought this was like if Judas Priest played video game music... Chunky classic metal always goes hand in hand with cutting edge planes.

For instance, turn up Judas Priest's Riding On The Wind from the Screaming For Vengeance album (yeah, the cover with the eagle with fricking bombs and missiles under its wings) and just imagine it being played at a full blown air show.
