  • how do you call those cabbage? they are bok choy

  • @TheOmosi in Chinese, bok choy is 白菜, baicai while cabbage is also 白菜。

  • Was the cabbage called Chinese cabbage or Boc Choy ?

  • Yes, they are different in taste and texture. Sometime I can not find this one, I use other kind, or iceberg, or savory cabbage.

  • Your right but the cabbage you used may have a different taste and texture from the American cabbage (i think) that we use here

  • It does not have to taste same anyway. It is your dish. I do not have same taste each time neither.

  • I wonder if the cabbage that I have and the cabbage that you used taste the same. ( The one that I have looks almost like lettuces)

  • i must try tofu one day - i hear its very popular in Japan, China, i know its a good source of protein. I am not a vegetarian but this food looks eyecatching. Thankyou for your time and effort to make and explain to us how to cook these foods.
