The methods they use were specifically designed as to preclude proving the accused guilty. Many people who have been targeted quickly realized that speaking out could be used against them and remained silent, so we don't know the real numbers. You're right though, it shouldn't be compared to "the" holocaust. When the general public recognizes it and takes up arms and goes to war to stop it, perhaps they wlll give it its own catchy name?
