Rabbits evolved on green plants, not pellets, they do well on any members of the grass family, they like the green leaves and the grains. Corn leaves, wild oats, or pesticide free grass in your lawn. They will also eat the grains fresh corn, rolled oats, wheat berries, etc. They also love dandelions, carrot tops and members of the cabbage family cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, kale, turnip leaves, radish leaves, collard greens, etc. Alfalfa is a legume, not a grass.
