Please watch in High Quality. Philip Sayce is an incredibly gifted and powerful performer. WHAT a SHOW he puts on!! Truly, if you have the opportunity you must see him LIVE. This is a musician who gives EVERYTHING EVERY time.

I captured this video in a small club in Los Angeles. Here, Philip is performing Cinnamon Girl, by Neil Young, as well as the last several minutes of 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)' by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Philip took his guitar out to the people at about 4:20 and reappears on stage about a minute later. I hope you enjoy this video and will get yourself to a LIVE show with this fantastic musician at the first possible opportunity!!!

Philip is supported by his superb band members, Fred Mandel on keyboards, Joel Gottschalk on bass, and Ryan MacMillan on drums. A tight and FANTASTIC band!!!

I hope you enjoy!!! I'll be posting a few more..... stay tuned!!

Best,

Libby :)

  • Funny. I just saw him for the first time.....at Molly Malone's on the 2nd. This newer version was pretty good. Sounded like they really polished Cinnamon Girl, and the new drummer is really good.

  • @theshyguitarist - Oh.... I had to miss that show, darn it, and it's been far too long since I've seen Philip play. Who's the new drummer?

  • Damn Philip! Killin it bro!

  • You should have seen him do it on Wednesday night Wes....... talk about KILLIN' it...... hopefully you will - I shot it...... you'll be the first to know !! ;)

Fritz Lewak...All I know is he was doing drummer duty for Etheridge and Jackson Browne. I think he's a ton better than that Matchbox 20 guy.

  • Wow, I really dig that Beatles cover. Has he recorded a studio version?
