There is a way around 4:3 screen. I got a 24imac connected to my tv i play the game on tv bigger screen :D. But if i Mirror the screen so having the game on both screens and put the res of the game to max it strech the game without loosing quality.
try it worked for me also with nfs most wanted cider port

It isn't in 16:10 (iMac screen)? Why it is in 4:3?
-
were you playing the game on maxed settings cause i hear alot of people say you need a 512mb video card to play nfs carbon on maxed settings. plz reply
-
hey can i play nfs carbon on maxed settings with the ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO 256mb video card

i have a white 24`` iMac and carbon just have 4:3 resolutions. if you have leopard then the game is being stretched automatically. but it`s still a 4:3 res and there aren`t any 16:10 resolutions (1920*1200). there are just 640*480, 800*600, 1024*768 and 1280*1024 options. on tiger you can see the black bars
Can it be played in full screen? because I think i see black bars.. Or am I wrong?

It is being played full screen. However, the mac version only has a select number of resolutions to play in, none of which are in the correct aspect ratio for the 24" iMac screen.

why do you put native on the title of the games, on an Intel mac you can run Windows 100% natively (i know this is the OS X version of Carbon btw)

What I mean is that the game is running on a Mac's Native operating system, which really is OS X.

how are you enjoying your mac so far?

Very much! I can't fault it. Defiantly the best computer I've owned, it can do everything and OS X makes multi-tasking a doddle! I find myself being a lot more productive with it. Oh, and did I mention how sexy it is?
