Respond to this video... I should add I don't think we need crazy resolutions such as 3x1920x1080 etc just something in the middle that will alow a great panoramic perspective but also be playable on just a 2 card SLI or crossfire setup.

@OstendoTech I think this is fantastic it appeals to me far more than a triple monitor setup. The trouble is with the relatively low resolution and high price. You say within two years things might change but to be honest I fear that you may have missed the boat by then as there is talk of many 21:9 screens coming out soon.

Hey, since you have such sick rigs and such. Grab your three monitors, Crysis wars that came with warhead and check out the mod for it called Mechwarrior Living Legends. Aside from having your weapons off to the side with your rigs and graphics tuning... man just try it for YOUR sake, not even for vid posting.

OstendoTech, is there any information about when the price may be coming down on the CRVD or is just a wait and hope situation?

@pwn00bz4ever - it is a bit better than just a "wait & hope" situation as we are working on some fundamental technologies to help reduce the cost & improve some of the specs of the CRVD, but this is still a good 2 years out. In the meantime, the price will only get reduced based on volumes.

When you realize you just spend 6.5k on a monitor youll know how pointless this would seem. Unless you got that much money leftover ofc.

@vitamindark1123 - it may seem as such to some people and until the cost drops down to levels that will affordable to the average consumer, CRVD does remain a niche product for certain applications like simulation & training, etc.
