  • I know that you just really trying to show people how to answer this, and being real detailed, but wouldn't it have been easy to say that, when "y= x- 4" That Y corrdinate is going to always be less then X?

Then take out the answers that have Y being bigger?

(Sorry just thought of that. Not so good in math so when i think of something like that i just want to post it)

Don't get me wrong, your my hero of SAT Math, hopefully i can drastically improve on my last score. (SAT tomorrow D: )

  • @schoolboi180 many different strategies on these questions, yes.

  • Being from Canada - I'm not entirely sure what the SAT is all about but, all of the questions you've posted can be answered by anyone with a decent understanding of High School math. Are these meant to be difficult?

  • well, difficult is a relative. but no, i do not think the SAT is supposed to be super hard or anything.

  • plug and chug lol, great vids man.

  • well, you have to remember, you are just taking the SAT! it does not test math knowledge; it tests how well you take the SAT. so, you might as well be smart about the way you approach it. often times, just working with the given solutions is waaaay easier than finding an algebraic or geometric solution.

  • Thank you!

  • if you would say that x<24 answer E is wrong, C is wrong because the difference between x and y =/= 4 and A and B are wrong because x<y

  • when i looked at it i figured 'x' had to be less than 24. Then i sawt "D" for 2 secs and that it works out =] The problem took like 5 secs of thinking haha

  • Thanks for the video! May I ask is alot of the sat a process of elimination or plugging answers in because I am only decent at math and am nervous about the math portion

  • @rowkem388 the SAT math section is not really meant to be hard it just tests if you can take a 3 hour test and keep your logic. None of the math problems are to difficult.

  • thanks petric for posting.........could you help me in finding easy solution of integration.

  • @rowkem388 I do agree with you. For this problem, we know that x can not be greater than 6 so the only solution of those 6 can only be A.

  • thank you SO much for putting these up!!
