Small point but I like that Pam mentions calling Scotty Demarest for a referral, not Harv Smithfield, as Scotty is a criminal defense attorney (which is what they need) while Harv is a corporate lawyer. Unfortunately, the writers ignored same this logic shortly thereafter when Cliff hires Scotty for the dispute over Jamie's 10% of Ewing Oil. As good a criminal lawyer as Scotty may be, a private lawsuit involving corporate ownership is completely out of his realm.

The reason why Miss Ellie wanted to speak to John Ross is becuase got kidnapped. Christopher wasn't negelected that much on Dallas.
