This movie was just boring i thought, shame cos it had real potential, seemed a bit bland towards the end, cool effects and great soundtrack though.

@TheQualBird I usually enjoy kid's movies but this one was impossible to sit through !
and I never even read the book so if it was boring for me it must have been even more boring to people who already knew the story

i had to see this again to really be effected by it, and it did effect me, i felt these monsters and their emotions as i did when i was a child, i LOVE this movie

I saw this on Christmas with not my family but my schoolclass as a treat for being good at school. A great Christmas for movies.
