Lightning Striking TV Antenna/Close Strikes & Explosive Thunder- June 1988 NYC

Some early footage from my teenage years. The first clip was shot on June 24th, 1988 looking out my bedroom window. I didn't realize until viewing the video back later that evening that I had captured a bolt of lightning striking my neighbor's television antenna. The following clip was shot two days later right out in front of my house in Queens, NY of two VERY close strikes hitting within a half mile of me. What you don't see if the third strike which hit OUR television antenna (literally 50 feet from me). This strike blew out our new Fisher VCR and shorted out our living room tv as well.

@chaseabob123123 No worries at all. I shot this video when I was still 15 years old. No fancy tricks could be done back in those days and the older cameras and their lenses gave the video a different look too.
