  • MY MOM BLOWS OFF MONEY AND GAMBLES

  • This always gets me thinking. I'm 16 years old, and it is my dream to start a thrift store. I do alot of work at flea markets, etc, and make a lot of money. I want to make tons of money, but give all to charity, but I always get this feeling like its not right. Jesus said sell your possession, said give to the poor, but never said to restock in possessions. Any good verses on money? Thanks. God bless!

  • eagles5822 where in Luke 21:1-4 does Jesus declare the poor widow exceedingly righteous because she gave generously towards the cause of the gospel. Mark is on the one hand saying this widow was exceedingly righteous because she gave it all, but then he goes on to say the if you don't work hard and smart and save and invest and have good life insurance and retirement you are unrighteous and poor. So you must give it all away like the woman but then you must also save and invest and so on. ?

  • I would like to know where the passage is Mark is revering to about the poor widow that give generously towards the cause of the Gospel and was declared exceedingly righteous. Can anyone help please !!!

  • I'm very confused, I'm a new Christian and I read in the bible that it is hard for a rich man to see the Kingdom of God and in north america our poorest are considered very rich in the rest of the world.
