1) Get the memory card exploit onto your memory card (there's many videos that show you how)
2) Get uLaunchelf
3) Get HDLoader and launch the ELF file from ulaunchelf
4) Install it, then go to the HDLoader menu that has Install, Play, etc choices, and highlight Install (don't press yet)
5) Put in a PS2 game you want to install, then start the installation process, and pray that your game is compatible.

@Reaperss yes u can if u have MCBOOT on the CARD and then a SD card that has HDLOADER.ELF then u can use the HARD DRIVE TO PLAY GAMES but online some will not work

can i burn a copy of hd loader on dvd without modding my ps2 to read it? i burned a copy of ps2 game and it says please insert ps2 disc?

Why get a wierd chip for the HDD? I think you can use a usb external.

no, your gonna need USB Extreme.

Or you can just rip the ISO, onto your computer, install your PS2 HDD into your computer and place the game unto that hard drive.

Does the lens read still PS1 CD's? If it can then you might be in luck. On my Fat Ps2 the lens messed up the other day and will no longer read DVD's. Now I have to use my slim for DVD games in order to play online.

Yeah but you have to solder the the Harddrive cable to the PS2's(slim) board and also put a chip on it. I have no idea how to do that since I have the Fat PS2... I just stick my harddrive in the HDD bay @ the back with the Network adapter.
