@lcowles Thank you! I also think it was a travesty that Todd received the bronze medal @ 2001 Worlds. IMHO, he deserved no less than silver @ that competition. Todd was thrilled to make it on that podium though, and he handled it all with grace and humility!

@paskatefan Amen! Tell that to all the haters who think the ONLY thing that matters in men's figure skating is the quad. They seem to think that you can go out there and give a performance like a hippopotamus on ice skates when it comes to footwork, spins, connecting steps, artistry and quality of technical execution BUT as long as you land a quad...it automatically makes you worthy of gold. I DON'T think so.

Хоть я и не люблю американских фигуристов, но вот Тодд мне очень нравится по катанию

I could care less about quads. Todd skated spectacularly here!
He only missed one jump. But overall he skated with superb quality. I think his marks should be higher. He is one of the best male skater in the world.

Despite the missed quad attempt Todd's free skate was easily one of the best of the evening. The remaining jumps were solid with captivating choreography. The "old guy" was still showing the younger competitors how it was done! Bravo Todd!!
