Norah Jones Don't Know Why Piano Tutorial at Tempo

"Don't Know Why" was written by Jesse Harris. It originally appears on his 1999 album, Jesse Harris & the Ferdinandos. It was the second single by Norah Jones from her 2002 album Come Away with Me. The single won three Grammy Awards in 2003 for "Record of the Year", "Song of the Year", and "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance".

@cjac9 it's tough to get the feel since I 1st heard the song minutes b4 making the recording. mine are tutorials, not performances.

I envy you, you have nice long fingers...I play, but with my tiny hands I really struggle to reach an octave, and sometimes it makes my playing sound a little stilted, or there will be a hesitation where there should not be...lol. You are great, though...and I like your tutorials!

@whatanightmare1 thanks. but it might be an optical illusion. my longest finger is 1" shorter than the black keys. many pianists have much longer fingers. Yet, we've all seen child prodigies playing up a storm with cutest littlest fingers! :)

That's pretty cool, but doesn't Norah play something much simpler on the recording? Yes, she plays that lovely bridge part though.
