@MrRockfordtoronto He died.

The biker may be stupid by trying to stop but what he did a very natural in the face of fleeing fleeing driver. Stupidity of the bike does not diminish responsibility of the driver who was breaking law fleeing the scene. The key is that what was presented to as an attack is response. A good samaritan could be in killed this way. Imagine thief killing you because he got scared because you came home unexpectedly.

could you tell me what song is it in this video??
-
bike rider was clearly in the wrong. who the hell is stupid enough to cut off and stop a car. then yell at car driver and scare him and then not get out of the way when it is clear the driver is scared and wants to leave. bike rider is a bonehead. was he hurt or worse.
-
this video clearly shows some guy on his bicycle cut in front of a car and gets off his bike and it looks like he is saying something to the driver. looks like driver gets scared and starts to pull away but bike rider wont move out of way. driver probably scared and tries to flee, hitting bike and rider. both people seem to be in the wrong here, especially bike rider being very confrontational and controlling. if bike rider got hurt its 100% his fault. dont cut off a car and make it stop

@dawgawful regardless - such an infraction certainly is not punishable by RAMMING WITH CAR .... ?

"interlink" Just my words!
May the driver stricken by lightning for two hours.

time 0:42 Darcy passes on the left and cuts in front of car. Can cyclists legaly do that while cars can't?

thanks for posting, media coverage had me thinking mr. sheppard was the instigator. passing the saab he was putting himself in a position where he would not be rear ended if he stopped in the dark behind bryant's car. bryant's reaction to a cyclists self preservation is sickening. if he has any humanity he should plead guilty, take his punishmenrt and make a commitment to provide for mr. sheppards children.

So the ex-head of law in Ontario ... .
This is unbelievable. Once again our University trained elite acts above the law.
I want to favorite this because it's excellently put together and great work, but I can't do it because I never want to see it again.
We can only hope for justice in this case.

I understand completely! As soon as I assembled the evidence, I had a duty to post it despite my distaste with it. Check today's Globe and Mail article for their sickening interpretation of events.
Given this weekends brutal deaths on Finch, then the fight and lethal hit and run on Adelaide, I posted a commentary comparing media and police treatments, link is at the end of this video and on my homepage.
Stand on Guard Canada! Our media's dirty laundry is hanging out on this one.

That is almost everything I can do with the footage.. There is one more technique I might try... Sorry for all the variants, just posting them as I complete each enhancement.
Check out the B&W STABILIZED clip on its own. Right at the beginning, it seems that the passenger might be slapping Bryant. You can see her arm go up across the car, and his head over the windshield snaps back quickly.

I don't see much there, I think it's more likely that she spots Sheppard and Bryant turns to see what she's pointing at. This could indicate that the dispute between the motorists and the cyclist started earlier. It could also indicate that the passenger was partly responsible for instigating the altercation as well.
