i have mullet and they also eat krill and small pieces of squid. they are disposal units

I shot a mullet like that with my speargun not far from where this video was taken... much easier!

now that a mullet and a half nice one yea bread works fine but there is a trick you use alot of ground bait and throw it in one area and you will find its the little ones that come and eat it whilst the big ones stay low and grab the bits which float down so a trick is use a triple headed hook and put not alot but enough to cover the metal on the hook and then pres it together to make it compact so it will sink, then it will slowly flow down to the biggys again nice catch

Hey im trying to catch some mullet off the pier in newport. I see them on the surface but they dont seem to eat like anything. I was wondering where I could get like live bait to catch them? Such as walmart?

in fl we chum with chickenfeed and catch them with live red worms and niblets of artificial with worm
