Underappreciated American band that had a better following in the UK than here. Maybe the comparisons to the Righteous Brothers had a part in it.

  • Thanks for posting this song. This is a song from my childhood. I'm 55 now and I believe I grew up during the best music available to the ear.

  • @SuperBrotherBob Yes we did. Just turned the big 5-0 myself.

  • Thumbs up if you found this song through The Walking Dead

  • My husband died May 16th 2011& & we would have been married 40 years this Fall. This song expresses exactly how I feel. When I hear this song it helps me shed the tears that I try to hold back that really need to be released. A good CRY helps with the grieving & some of those "hurting" songs help get it out where it`s bottled up inside. The Walker Bros. do such a marvelous job....the right voice & wonderful music.

  • Someone's gonna get shot soon if this doesn't appear in the show soon, a trailer wasn't enough.

  • walking dead brought me here, and i'm very glad it did! :D

  • @wideernie Yes, one of the greatest ever......good taste. Good day, Patricia

  • Fuck "the walking dead" it was X-Files season 5 that got me here. and fuck your thumbs.

  • One of the best songs ever written.

  • I used to get so annoyed when the radio jock would talk all over the end of this song, as if they never ever listened to it all to realize there was some really great stuff at the end. It is great to be able to hear the ENTIRE song. Thanks.

  • Yeah The Walking Dead brought me here also....

  • @SuperBrotherBob Well said, I grew up in the 80's and like a lot of 80's and other music but NOTHING compares to the sounds of the 60's....NOTHING

  • From the Spring of '66, this is an all-time vocal/ production masterwork from Bob Gaudio, Bob Crewe, & The Walkers. Haunting & Heartbreaking. Wolfsky9

  • what a beautiful song
