Media Voices For Children - A Gift ft. Geri Allen's A Child Is Born

Media Voices For Children is an Internet agency for children's rights and an organization Motema proudly supports. This summer, Kathy Cronkite presented Media Voices President Len Morris with The Walter Cronkite Award, "For using the power of the media to awaken the world to the causes and best practice solutions to child labor, children on the streets and chronic poverty"

Motéma is working with Morris and his organization to develop a series of film and music collaborations in an effort to raise awareness and funds for this fine cause. "A Gift" is the first video in this series, featuring children along the roadside in rural Kenya receiving lollipops. The film is set to Geri Allen's "A Christmas Melody" from the album A Child Is Born. Anyone who donates $100.00 to the Kenyan Schoolhouse Fund will receive a copy of Allen's new holiday recording.
