Jet Blue Fight 647 Plea For Help

As we, the passengers of Jet Blue flight 647, sat on the tarmac for 5.5 hours as other planes took off and landed, we had to find some way to pass the time. At the end of the 5.5 hours, we turned around and docked at the gate for refueling, only to be told our flight was cancelled because the crew had reached their maximum number of flight hours. Now we're sitting in JFK, staying up all night, to take a 7 am Virgin America flight because Jet Blue had no available flights until tomorrow evening. JET BLUE FAIL.

Hi, nobody enjoys being cooped onboard especially if we're starving and uncomfortable. However being a flight attendant, I can honestly say we hate being stranded as much as you do. We want to get home as well, we're tired, we don't have get a break and we're not keeping the snacks for ourselves either.

wow.. i was stuck in traffic once on I95 and I got WAIT FOR IT.. NOTHING!!!!! No water, No chips, no apology, no tv, no ac, no bathroom, NOTHING... SHUT THE HELL UP PEOPLE.. shit happens!

@ParkLaneTottenham1 JetBlue is a nice airline and I fly it when I can. I just don't know of any airlines that don't have problems or issues, and that includes passengers being stranded. I can say I have never been but it must be miserable to be stranded, but there were othere airlines Stranded during this past storm, but B6 seems to get all the attention. Give JetBlue a chance if the opportunity presents itself.

next time you're stuck on the tarmac, try this: take up a collection -say $10 a passenger, then get the pilot to ask air traffic control to bribe a ground crew to pull you to a gate. With 100 passengers, that's $1,000. I think it might motivate the right people.

just saying... when you feel like complaining... consider your options. And remember, the same thing happens on every other airline... except you probably would have less legroom & no directTV.
