What happens if the hub is just a little to loose and you continue to ride on it? I have Currie Ezip electric bicycle. The front hub is just fine but rear hub has just a little bit of side by side play in it. The problem is that the rear wheel has an electric motor mounts to it plus a wire continuing to the electric controller with no disconnect. How could this hub come loose? While replacing a tire? Is this a sign that the bearing are wearing out? Or is it a manufacturing defect?
