Ok, everyone. This is the long-awaited montage concerning Sasha's performance at the 2010 Nationals - new footage after all this time! I've had a few health problems recently and there was technical difficulties with my computer so I wondered if I was even going to get this done, but I finally made it.
This is all about Sasha's unsuccessful attempt to get to the 2010 Olympics and a short history lesson beforehand. The song doesn't start right away just so you know: I just wanted to give a documentary feel to the whole thing! Hopefully, this will not be the end of Sasha's competitive years - I hope she holds on for a year or two at least. I thought this song suited Sasha perfectly and was very emotional to make. If I did it right, it should bring a tear to your eye! And if you ask me, when Susan sings, it's impossible not to shed a tear anyway! ;)
The song is I Dreamed A Dream by Susan Boyle.

  • so powerful, beautiful and sad.... i think you told her story in a very impressive way.

  • Nice job with the editing and such, but the song doesn't fit her story. She's never even hinted that her life was like Hell. Life hasn't killed her dream - she's living her dreams.

Powerful song. It really gets the emotions up.

  • "There wasn't sadness and there wasn't regret. I'm just really pleased to be here and skate again." Sasha Cohen

  • sasha is so hot

  • I ran myself out of room. LOL I also wanted to say that you did a great job with the tribute! :)

  • You know...... after all of this time, and with so many long programs that just weren't Sasha at her best, I've learned to love a few more things about her: Her philosophy, maturity and articulation when she is interviewed about it. It must be really difficult for her at times when she looks back and wonders what could have been...... It's really difficult for me, and I'm just a fan. I HONESTLY think that only Sasha knows some of the answers when she lays her head down on her pillow at night.
