This is an animation I made with Cinema 4D for a school project. Enjoy the video.

  • this scale flatters our size...EVEN THE SUN WILL BE A PIXEL

  • @dragon4117 I wasn't able to create a bigger star cuz' it was bigger than the program's work area xd

  • why are some names in portuguese, such as earth its name is terra in portuguese.

  • @jhoujhou123 it's not portuguese, it's catalan xD I'm from Catalonia, so I had to put the names in that language xd

  • well actually yv canis majoris is as big as the distance from sun to pluton so i dont get the idea of this video lol

  • @bracikmen the idea is that the distance between the atmosphere of vy canis majoris and the planets is as big as the distance between the sun's atmosphere and the rest of the Solar System. So, basically, this animation compare the size of the star with the planets, and shows the rotation speed that all planets would have if there were an star like that at the center of the Solar System

  • @SophieStudios999 You are one to talk. The grammatical mistakes in your sentence alone makes the planet names look golden.

  • This doesn't make a lot of sense. If Canis was in the middle of our system it's surface would be beyond Saturn.

  • vy canis majoris is a billion times bigger than our star which is the Sun

  • isso é portugues msm?

  • No love for pluto

  • music is amazing.. sounds very Japanese for some reason.

  • A ma connaissance, je ne suis pas certain, Canis Majoris a un diamètre allant du Soleil jusqu'à Saturne. Mais j'imagine que les protuberances d'une telle étoile doit brûler Uranus et Neptune très facilement.

  • I believe he spelt the names Latin I'm not really sure though, but I can assure you he wasn't trying to spell the planets names in English!

  • 何これWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWつまんなwWWWWWW編集へたくそワロタWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • Pls learn better English cause most of those planets were spelled wrongly
