  • In 2003 I paid someone $20.00 at Google Answers to find the artist of this song. I heard this song in 1988 when it was on the rock station 94HJY Providence, RI. Hadn't been able to get it out of my head by 2003 (15 Years later). I've got this song on my iPod now and still love it. Its on a ForeFront CD

called "X [or 'ten']: The Birthday Album (Forefront Anniversary). I have that CD too somewhere.

  • Michael Anderson is a guest in one of the recent TAXI video sessions, where he talks about his career and music then and now - really worth checking out! (google it, it's on ustream)

  • As of today, Michael Anderson works at the Music Institute in L.A., and wrote the book, The Little Black Book of Songwriting. Still writing music, teaching, and lecturing...

  • I had the pleasure of meeting this artist back in the late eighties. This guy had CLASS, a real down to earth kind of guy that was great to see in concert. Saw him a few times in clubs in LA, every time a real rockin' show! Wish him the best... and hey when will he be back in LA???

  • I found an an old sampler cassette that A&M records put out in the late 80's, and this song was on it. I would never have thought I'd find it on youtube. The other song I have by him is called "Shine A Light". Is there any more info on this guy, like a discography or even if he's still alive? Thanks.

  • I'm amazed how current this still sounds. Authentic music stands the test of time.

  • MIKE IS THE MAN!!!

  • I got a copy of this record in 1987 a few weeks before it came out. he did a wonderful follow up record for A&M Records that was self titled. He also wrote the country classic "Maybe It Was memphis" for Pam Tillis. He then recorded two albums for the Christian Market on the same label as DC Talk. He added a song to a Larry Norman tribute album and has released a handful of demo projects. Michael also has written a book on songwriting.
