The footage is a little shakey but this is one of the largest I have seen. I was able to get pretty close before he went back into the marsh.

  • Wow good thing you didn't come out of the vehicle! Nice video!

I was reading some of the other comments, why would you consider killing an innocent creature that has done nothing to you?

Just for the heck of it? It's fun to kill innocents?

  • @vampiroangelico well most of the time we dont kill them but when you draw permits for them you can legaly take 2 gators a year. they are real good to eat. this keeps the balance so that they dont become over populated. Gators are a good thing but if they were to become over populated it could cause a nuisance problem. They are amazing animals that have been here longer than we have and I hope they are always around. Hunting is about conservation just as much as the success of the hunt

  • LoL

Well after seeing you shooting hogs with a 17 HMR I would be really curious to know what calibre you would use for THIS one? :DD

  • @VeryGunhappy NOT a .17 hmr! Probably something like an anti tank gun. LOL

  • @RFActionFilms

Oh o.k just found out that OKEECHOBEE COUNTY is the location. What kind of name is that, sound like Indian language?!

  • @VeryGunhappy yeah the seminole indians named the lake the county borders up to lake Okeechobee which i think means big water.

  • @RFActionFilms true dat lived there my whole life its in florida

  • Damn, I live in South Florida an i wish i could see one walking like that.. be so awesome.. there my favorite animal living today.

    Great video.

  • @RFActionFilms I respect your opinion, but I honestly fail to see how you can back up the theory that you can preserve (you used the term "conservation") an animal species by killing them, even if occasionally.

I am white myself, but I believe we ought to learn from the indians (native americans) how to live and/or interact with these animals, instead of just killing them for sport. Even if they became an overpopulation, I think we should just respect their space (water), and just let them be.

  • lol me and my friend came across a gator the same size as that one except in my 8ft bass tracker in merritt island fl
