  • do you know what tuning handsome johnny is in?cause i can learn it from watching him but i dont know tuning.open D?

  • @ryler99 I'm pretty sure he used open D for everything.

  • you must've been watching Woodstock!!great job w/Haven's technique,so odd how you were playing actual whole chords w/just your thumb alone but that's just what he does..so it's DADF#AD ,always wondered about what he used

  • @4runner39 I'm pretty sure he uses open D for virtually all of his stuff. In the Woodstock clips, when he's changing the string, you can hear him pluck each string when he's tuning up -- very helpful if you're trying to figure out the tuning.

  • @rileyhot21 that's not creepy at all.

  • @itshiptobeasquare Well said, sir!

  • excellent cover, you do alot of open d covers any chance you can do highway 51 off bob dylans first album, please.

  • Haha you definitely have to stretch your picking arm out before attempting a Havens cover.

  • @TheVasicist You ever hear of a place called Woodstock?
