Vacation - Day 1 of Arkansas

This is Day 1 of the 2009 trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas!!

Day 1:
Today was really the driving day. We left for Dawn's house at 7:30am. Then ate donuts, weenies, and bacon. Then we got all packed up, and started off for Hot Springs, Arkansas. We left at about 9:00am. While we were on the road, I recorded some videos of about anything that I felt needed to be recorded. We only had to stop at a reststop once! The first time for me!! (laugh) That is when I started to record and after that I didn't stop recording. We kept in contact with Dawn, Nick, and Matthew by walkie-talkie. We had some awkward conversions to say the least. I recorded some of the most awkward except the Hancock one!! We got near Hot Springs at 1:45pm or so. Then we went through downtown, which was pretty cool. We pasted the horse racing arena! Then past the, so I call, Historical District. I recorded the places that are haunted, and then we left the downtown area at about 1:59pm. Then it took us about 10-15 minutes to get to our rental house area. After that we went to Dawn's rental house and helped her unpack. Then we went to our rental house and unpacked. I got my own room!! The place we are staying at is very nice!! It is the only house in the area. After we got unpacked, we ate, then got groceries. Then after we got those unloaded, we went putt putting. This is where it gets interesting. We started out and finished the putt putt course without any problems. But we decided to go through it one more time, and that was a bad idea. We started hitting it a lot harder. Then Nick yelled 'FOAR!!' and Matthew was just standing there telling him not to hit it, but he did and he hit Matthew dead-on right in the knee. Now Matthew just went right to the ground. Well, that ended putt putt. So Dawn and Dad came down and we played basketball. Let's just say that didn't end up well for Matthew or me! We got out butts kicked, so to say. 23-13. We only lost by 10! So we quit that and found these things that you hang on and ride! (that's what she said-pink) (Matthew says-red) So we did that, and I pushed Brandon very hard and he fell off! He got mad and so did dad! Then we had a tournament and I won!! Then Dawn took pictures of use using the slidey thingy?? Then we all pushed Austin as hard as we could, and his legs went really high!! Then Austin and Matthew went on a slide on top of each other!!! Dawn took some pictures. I went on one of those horses that move back-and-forth. Dawn took pictures of me!! Then we went on a rope. Nothing exciting happened there. So we went back to our cabin and I uploaded the videos of today. Then Nick, Austin, Matthew, and I played blackjack once, then gold-fish, then we played Old Maid. Which I didn't lose once, except mabye once. First time for me to play. Then after that we left, I started to play music, and started typing this. So Day 1 was good. We drove, came, and already ate out!! So it is going smooth, except for some times when someone got hurt, but otherwise this should (will) be a good vacation. *I will update (hopefully) everyday!
