  • hey hiked lukla to tengboche and back in april/may 2008, none of our group took diamox during the trip but my travel doctor did give me some, did it help you?? being a....diaretic n all.... if you pop me a message on here re all that'd be cool coz i do plan on going back and doing basecamp next time...

    Diamox really works when trekking/climbing above 10K feet. The tingling and funny taste of carbonated drinks (see anc8469 above) are the only real side affects. Hope you make it back to EBC, it is amazing. ~Rodney

  • i take diamox twice a day for a condition i have called femial partial parallasis

  • I use to be on diamox because I have Psuedotumor Cerebra and they put me on it to drain fluid off my optic nerves. My nose and feet always tingled also. Food and soda didn't taste the same either.
