In Indonesia, an entire district has been buried by an eruption of boiling, noxious mud. Was it a natural disaster or an industrial accident?

  • a natural gas company IS responsible for this and needs to compensate all who are affected. If this BS had happened in the U.S., England, France, etc. the company would've been bankrupted by all the lawsuits and payments to citizens they'd have been FORCED to pay.

  • @jen8933 Mud volcanoes are caused by earthquakes the water underneath the ground collects and the the soil becomes like a liquid and spews upward. When buildings are built on bay mud or soil that contains a lot of water it is more likely for mud volcanoes to form. That's what may be happening since Indonesia ison the edge of a techtonic plate. But who knows maybe the drilling has affected this somehow...
