Really great interview. I look forward to seeing how Placebook and location-based services in general develop in the future. By the way, Robert, you should get a camera that doesn't stop recording mid-interview. ;)

This is an incredible concept. I could never get into foursquare/gowalla because the "gaming" aspect wasn't enough to keep me interested and so they never provided any real value. Placebook sounds like it'll make location relevant for a lot of people like me.

Hey Robert, I love your work. I didn't appreciate Arrington making light of it. I would love to work with you in the future covering start ups and doing media production. I'd be interested in seeing an interview with the guys for Smoke Screen. (Flash banner ads on iOS.) Take care.
