Resident Evil 4 - Handgun Only Run Chapter 4-2b

Part B:
Basically the whole Novistador cave.
Gosh, what an annoying place this is. I played very safe, since these bugs eat a LOT of ammo and rarely get stunned.

Once again, notice how they can't enter the path with those huge traps: Best spot to farm ammo off them ;D

Edit: I'm really sorry, as this video has slightly unsynced sound. I don't know where this is coming from, splitting made no problems, source files work and no additional settings have been made....

Any suggestions are welcome on how to avoid/fix issues like these!

Guys if you want enemies to drop more ammo in handgun only mode, carry an extra unloaded handgun in your inventory. Having an unloaded gun will increase your chances of getting more ammo from enemies and boxes

thats true, u can get 4 shots 2 stab saddler, 2 for shootin cans, and 2 to pull the lever, and u only need 2 stab him 8 times in professional, then its rocket launcher time!

Yeah, I'm just sayin' that because once I bought the blacktail and I tuned up the capacity to it's highest level and I had 35 shots before I would reload. But it sure wasted a lot of ammo between reloads. XD

You have a point there. Actually, I am currently at chapter 5-4, and I have something like around 200 bullets left. Kind of nothing compared to my stock when I began XD

I will have to save some ammo and collect more from eventual drops/specific spots in the game. But I WILL beat this, no matter what. If I end up with like 50 bullets left for Saddler, that's just fine. I would only need the ammo to shoot his eyes. Leon can mount him then. :D

Man, using only the handgun sure must waste a lot of handgun ammo. I hope you're knifing them and kicking them too!
