I hadn't seen this skit since I was about eight years old, but I always remembered it vividly. Oddly enough, the thing I remembered best about it was how different their hair looked after the lights came back on.
My theory? The air conditioner was one of the things that went out when the fuse blew, and their hair is all plastered down like that from the heat and humidity.
