My Casey is gone

Everyday is a sad mother's day when you have lost your son to a drunk driver. Inspired from a letter written by Casey Bokhoven's mother, Diane. Casey was hit and killed March 11, 2007 by drunk news anchor Tolly Carr as he was standing on the sidewalk near his home.

I'm sorry that you lost your son Casey, he looks like a beautiful person. You have a lot more than his grave, you have his life. You have the deepest connection a person can have and it never ends. Please know that there are people in this world that understand your grief and can offer you comfort and love, enough to get you through that next little rough spot. Teresa
