  • Such a cutie Arturo is. I remember when he was a last-minute Pinkerton substitution at Houston Grand Opera.

  • Gorgeous voice, but problems with intonation.

  • The tenor is very promising singer and will be within a short period of time singing in all the major opera house of the world

  • Dina DOES have a few intonation problems in this excerpt, but she was a beautifully vulnerable and affecting Tatiana in Eugene Onegin at Chicago Lyric Opera last fall. Wish you could've seen/heard her then. Not at all "horrible." She also sang Janacek's Cunning Little Vixen there a few seasons ago.

    (Memphis... I know it well... lived and taught in NW Mississippi back in the early '90s)
