Do you mean compromise?

If so, then yes, every president has had to compromise. When our founding fathers wrote the constitution they had to compromise quite a bit.

Reagan knew the importance of compromise and went against his own party. Here's his own words:

"If you got seventy-five or eighty percent of what you were asking for, I say, you take it and fight for the rest later, and that's what I told these radical conservatives who never got used to it." - Ronald Reagan

this is a news report on obama's qualifications and at least half of it is interviews with his own campaign advisors? that makes half of it unreliable doesn't it?

Why?

Did Reagen comprise with liberal dems, or Roosevelt in the 1930s?
