Knoebel's has the world's best Haunted Mansion. The winner of D.A.F.E's #1 best dark ride award for 8 years in a row, the ride sure can back that claim. The three minute ride is well worth the $1.50 in tickets. You'll pass through a haunted library; a huge orient living room with a pipe-organ; a creepy kitchen; a void of skulls; a dark, musty attic; a weird psychedelic room; A damp dungeon torture room; A spooky graveyard; and a freaky jungle forest; all filled to the brim with details. The details are so abundant, you'll have to ride it more then twice just to catch most of them.

On this visit, I rode it 10 times. I was lucky to do so. The lines dwindled mid-day after a thunderstorm an heavy down-pour, (which to many, looked as though it was the start of another famous Knoebel's flood) and while the storm only put one stunt on the shelf for the rest of the day, (The Witch) it was still just as enjoyable. I filmed it 4 of the 10 times. The first two are before the storm, and the last two are afterward. Please, watch them all! And make sure to visit Knoebel's Park in Elysburg PA. It's 10 times better then Disney World and Hershey park.

I've been on this twice. The first time I was around 6; closed my eyes and hid behind my aunt and cried, while my 3 year old sis rode with eyes open and was mortified. The second time, I was 14 and still hid my eyes, while my sister laughed. Who's the wuss, me:)

im not sure if its the best but i know for a fact its better than the one i went to at my county fair where you go on a small loopy track then you stop for a few seconds then it goes woop woop then you keep moving then theres nothing else that does look expensive to make though
