Barbies was the way I found out about sexual intercourse. O_o and when me n my friend played with them, we had the kid girls, and the bean bears from mc donalds. Yea. Crazy.

I think its stupid to think that this will promote teen pregancy. We see real pregnant women all the time, just because it is on glamorous barbie doesn't make it different. Most women who get pregnant or i guess you call them teens whatever, they get pregnant by takind drugs, having sex or being disconnected from family NOT by playing with a barbie doll. Also this doll was well designed cause it would be weird any other way, also this doll shows nothing about sex.

@kittyslade I disagree with you. My sisters and I (even my brother) played with this exact doll. Not once did I ever think that babies came out by ripping off the stomach of the mom. It was a fun toy and something different. I wish I would've kept it as a collectors item; it would be worth so much today.

@krazykaila96 Except that's not Barbie. That's her slightly younger, married friend Midge.

This doll is so wrong. Its basically telling kids about sex and saying that the kid comes out by ripping open the mums stomach. And what kinda mum wears high heels when pregnant? Oh yeah, her big barbie belly will cushion her fall

Ok why in the he'll would they put this in the market?? I mean like if they made it give birth to the baby the real way, the kids would be scared forever. This way they think the doctors just rip off their moms belly and get the baby. FAIL!

dude when i was twelve i put fire crackers on most of my barbies and blow them up, the only ones i kept where my one of a kind barbies that look like people from around the world still in there case and i only kept them cause there worth anough to but me through collage and pay off any loans

I actually had one of these. And I loved it! It was so fun! But as for the teen pregnancy thing, nothing can promote pregnancy. Most of the time it's an accident. Why would any teen wanna get pregnant purposely? I think it's an innocent toy and should come back on the market

They could have put a hole where her "birth hole" is supposed to be, and it would have a removable cover piece. Then you just lay her down, and push her stomach, and slowly the baby comes out, with a plastic umbilical cord, that attaches to the baby with magnets. that or the baby could have been in the box and come with adoption papers. as old as barbie is, by now she has to be a barren wasteland. XD

Answers: Mattel executes ideas from the playbook of population creation & control. To ensure an ample supply of complacent slaves, romanticizing babies is crucial.
Early-indoctrination has lifetime effects, so corporate media promotes parenting fantasies aimed at young girls with idealized emotional aspects of mothering.
Corporations precondition people for rampant breeding.
Disney & Mattel get profits.
Elites get more taxpayers & cannon fodder.
This toy is perfect for that.
