  • Too bad he didn't get number 8...

  • @Margaux177 Tested more than a lot of teams combine.Calling him "Pharmstrong" or hinting that he did is you just admitting you are full of shit more than a septic tank. He was put in front of the FEDERAL GRAND JURY 3 times and STILL no evidence to put him behind bars. Which means... STFU and have fun in your septic tanks you jealous fucks.

  • @aberlioness Thats also because, back in Merckx´s time, it was very people who actually had a speciality like we see today. Today it´s the fewest riders who can compete in the top, of more than one category because everybody focuses on one or two speciallitys. That wasn´t really the case back in the old days.

  • Eddy, you've got class!

  • No comment over this quite ridiculous and shamefull msg x the king of doped cheaters and pathetic clowns in the history of this sport ( they say money can buy many things and many people as well ..... ) but the tilte in your video ...Eddy Merckx the best cyclist ever ??!! .....

Ah now I've got it, ossehaasje , you're Belgian so I understand ur deliberate pass on the greatest of cycling history, the one true legend and symbol himself of cycling rider, Fausto Coppi ....!

  • @aberlioness Such is modern cycling. Do you think someone will put up numbers in the modern NBA like WIlt Chamberlain did in the 60s? It won't happen again because of the way the sports have evolved. Both are great champions, and to compare their accolades is an exercise in futility.

  • They're the stuff legends are made of, especially Eddy.

  • As good as Armstrong is, Merckx still beats him hands down. Armstrong has NEVER held the hour record, won all jerserys available in both Le Tour and the Giro de Italia, nor has won the great one day race Paris - Roubaix multiple times. In short the American is a bit of a one trick pony by comparison

  • A true champion. I saw him at the 1992 tour sitting in the back of a car and could have pestered him for a handshake but a great man needs his space. Merckx will always be numero uno.
