With a mesmerizing mix of intricate guitar compositions and soulful, melodic vocals, guitarist Brian Gore and singer Susan Z are collaborating to create a distinctive sound that recalls stars of many genres: Tuck & Patti, Pierre Bensusan, Sheryl Crow and Peter Gabriel to name a few.

Over the past 10 years, both have enjoyed success in their separate careers—Brian as the founder of the globally touring mobile guitar festival International Guitar Night [http://internationalguitarnight.com/] and Susan as the founder of the long-running Wine Women & Song concert series which benefits breast cancer research. Though their common ground as concert producers is apparent, their musical compatibilities are less obvious. Susans pop/rock songcraft is shaped by The Beatles and storytelling songwriters such as Beth Neilsen Chapman. Brians poetry-inspired instrumental guitar work is informed by composers of classical, jazz, folk and world music, such as Ralph Towner of the band "Oregon" and Pierre Bensusan.

So how did these entrepreneurial impresarios decide to team up and merge their eclectic influences?

I rediscovered Susan's music after many years a few months ago, Gore explains. It was like a long forgotten epiphany: Yes! I want to play with her. My wife heard Susan's voice streaming through my computer and loved it. We both were asking ourselves, Why hadn't I called Susan earlier?

Susan adds, What makes this project so exciting for me is that Brian's new arrangements give me a chance to hear my songs in a completely new way—especially the ones which were originally composed on the piano.
