Television - In World (Later)

At the time, they said the album "sounded like a Tom Verlain albun" in the press, but it was not hard to see that it was actually a tremendous return to form and absolutely a Television album. The two tracks they played on 'Later' are Television classics comparable with anything they've done. Who-wawah-hoo-hoo!

Agree with your comments. The other musicians' distinctive styles are very much in evidence - especially Lloyd's guitar. I'd say the album is more like 'Adventure' than 'Marquee Moon'.

Any chance that you can find the live version of "1880 or So" that they play on this same episode of Later? It disappeared from YT about a month ago. It's great.
