  • Hiii!... Thanks for the great video,... Just one question... what patch of the subtractor did you used for obtaining that fat great sound...

    thanx again

  • @KlandestinoRec i did the sound on my own. right-click on the subtractor and choose initialize patch and then try to follow what i do on the video. I know it's hard since the video quality sucks and i do it kind of fast. sorry

  • This is very helpful. My only question is: How did you make your audio file into an .smp file so you can use it in the NN-19?? i have samples in .wav format and no Reason devices can use that. thanks

  • thanks! i didnt make my audio file into an .smp-file. you can load wav-files to the nn19, you just have to push the "load sample"-button and not the "load patch"... good luck

  • when patching the cables at the back, what do you do to auto complete the left and right at the same time? also, what are the basic keyboard shortcuts to play, stop, start at beginning etc?

    great stuff :)

  • starting and stopping is the space button. i also use ctrl+c and ctrl+v a lot (copy and paste)... you can also use the control key when moving a note to copy it

  • the part how you connect the stuff is a bit too fast for me to follow :-s

  • Unbelievable!

I have thought that the limits of reason are in voice modulation, but with this video you have proved the contrary.

reason is multi functional but it is a pity that you are not able to automate pitch of tracks in the sequencer... normally it is basic...

  • Great tut, Thanks for showing the back and how you hooked it up.

  • Dude... Thanks

  • Yep. use the sound recorder that comes with windows. if ur using xp, its: Start> All Programs> Accessories> Entertainment>Sound Recorder. Then use whatever computer mic that'll plug into the mic port on the back of ur tower, record ur sound n save it as a .wav file but be sure u save it in the same folder where u save ur reason files. load it in the NN-19 in reason by clicking the browse sample button (not the browse patch) n direct reason to where u saved the file and Viola!

    Hope this helps.

  • good tutorial, but why did you use the spider audio merger/splitter?

  • connecting the left cable should automatically connect the right

  • so unfortunately, the problem ive run into is when after loading the sample, any other note other than the base trigger key sounds higher/speedup or lower/speed down in pitch and tempo. I originally had to split up the sample audio according to each individual note change. Is there anyway to sustain a constant sample file without getting the tempo/pitch change??
