  • @Geekvolution Dark Knight came out in '08 if I'm right. Wasn't 2 years your idea of a film not being off limits?

  • @robertreturns Yes, I wait at least 2 years, but I'm waiting until closer to Rises on Dark Knight. Check out my November update.

  • @Geekvolution why do u wait at least 2 years? I get not doing the right away and giving urself time to rewatch but 2 years seems like a lot of time

  • @SuperKing604 To give the movie time to seep into the public consciousness and kinda see what the general concensus is universally, if there is one, and how it's affected the culture. Plus, there are a lot of these things and I've got plenty left to do, so if I don't have a limit like that, folks will be begging for the new stuff when I've got older things that need to be reviewed!

  • @Geekvolution Also, if I can find the time, I may start reviewing new superhero movies on "new movie reviews" also, so you can get my general, non-spoiler opinion before the eventual in-depth story analysis.

It was both the best and worst part of the movie. Sad, disturbing...brutal. I was sad for the rest of the movie, it felt wrong to kill him and like that. BUT, it was perhaps the only emotional moment in the entire film. It was the only time I did feel anything. However, that was due more to the character himself (who doesn't love Prof. X?) and the previous films...so, no Ratner, you get no points.

  • does anyone else realize that if magneto dropped the golden gate bridge a few more feet in front of him he would have killed everyone in the building which was his plan in the first place?

  • @Geekvolution sounds good I thought that might be the reason reviewing in hindsight rather then in the moment.

  • Prof. X's death did bother me. It scared & disturbed me, but I liked it because it puts the story before the characters which is always the best way to go.

  • Depoweing mistique did it for me!

  • This film was a mess. They couldn't even get the Phoenix to look how it should, her eyes are supposed to light up like flames. Cyclops should not have died and it would have been better if the Phoenix tried to kill Xavier but changed her mind and turned good near the end. If they were going to make another sequel they should include a time-travel storyline with either Cable or Bishop and undo the events of this movie.

  • @astrostar49 more like fan disservice
