I did Wareham Forest yesterday (January 2012) what a killer! The sand is a complete stopper and most of the puddles deceptively deep- I was usings SPDs and have never fallen off my bike so many times on one trip! The hills are brilliant with excellent training value. Definately riding wareham forest more in the future - mental!

Nice. I've been exploring Wareham forest for a few weeks and the best bits are actually on the most Eastern parts - the smallest chunk of the forest, on the map it looks tame but it is singletrack heavy, nice and curvy through trees, decent runs, also some nice big sandy drop offs to catch you out!
