  • I never actually heard them, but from reading the specs I'm not impressed. The K-Horns and heritage series are still the best hands down! These have a lower db than k-horns by far and it takes 2 p39's to produce the same max aucoustical output as one K-horn. And it takes far more watts of inefficient power to get there? Deemed as Enviornmentaly freindly is not going to make me buy a speaker! The K-horns RULE and there over 60 years old! As Paul Klipsch would say if still around, "Bullshit"

  • Thanks for the feedback!

Specs are a difficult way to judge speakers. If you are sincerely interested (in any speaker)- give them a listen!

We are quite proud of the Khorn as well as these, which is why they are still in production. The Palladiums have a more refined sound than the Khorns, which are more "live" sounding - one is not meant to replace the other.

Those who knew Paul best feel he would be impressed with our latest efforts, which continue to be based on his audio philosophies.

  • Not good for that price -- distortion everywhere at end of song...

  • Sorry for my attack before as it was very rude considering how much work has gone into these and the fact that I've never actually heard these speakers. My father an engineer who met Paul at one point eventually bought Khorns when I was 5 yrs old in 1987 and for the last 24 years they have been his pride and joy as we practically were forced to worship them growing up. 3 other relatives of mine on both sides also all owned Khorns so it was beat into me from an early age that they were the best.

  • I did a dealer search for these, and I could only find 2 Pallidium dealers West of the Mississippi! One is in Los Angeles, and one is in Montana. I find it amazing there's none in Texas. Or even Seattle, where you have all the Microsoft millionaires.

  • yea i got a pair of klipsch's, $700, i can't imagine going over a g though. these are nasty

  • @SamStats722

Dude, for the longest time, I had computer speakers. And then I popped 280 bucks on a Philips FW - c555 from Wal Mart, and that very first cassette I played, I asked myself, "why have I been living with puny computer speakers for so long?" Now, I'm looking at $10K for a pair of Khorns, or $4K for RF 83's and RF7's. Any price is woth it if you use it every day and when you finish, you smile like a fat kid with an ice cream cone.

  • who wants to drop $31,500 on a stereo system anyway

  • @Klipschgirl

Is this really some recording of a P39F in the background? I detect some room reverb in the background, reminicent of a live sound of a real guitar. I'm trying to see some footage of a real K-horn or a real P39F. Shure I like the Cerwin Vega XLS stuff, but I don't want some 92db sensitive junk. That's why I'm glaring at Klipsch.

  • i bought these speakers, and let me tell you sumthing-c3dwin5412 Sure you did.

    Put em on ebay.

We didn't expect a 20 year old would be able to hear these speakers sound better than anything Sony makes now did we? Sony, now there's a brand you can't argue with, they advertise on TV.

  • Why the hell would you power something like these with a junk QSC amp?

    Are you serious?

  • What a horrific video! lol
