I depends on how fast your hair grows, my hair was straight for about 1.5 years cause it grow super slow. I also think that it's worth it. Also, the unstraightened hair that grows in gets weighed/pulled down straight by the hair that's already grown out, so it looks straight. Also go to an asian salon because they do this more often and are more experienced and are cheaper
