what the fuck ??? the tc was launched in what 04-05?? what the hell is wrong with ur engine bay??? it looks like some1 took a piss and shit in both engine bays and then let it rust over...why are there so many wires running randomly??? why is there so much rust?? this ugly setup almost made me throwup on myself..worst ive seen so far. FAIL

dude its a scion. . . . .get a new car that shitbox sucks!!!!

The first tC shown is ugly, plain and simple. Ignoring that though, why on earth would you leave the turbocharger inlet open like that?! The second setup is almost as bad, but at least someone had enough sense to put a fricken filter on it. Sucking in HOT air after it passes through the radiator and intercooler (not to mention all the heat coming off the exhaust header right next to the inlet) makes these a very poorly executed design...

Silver one smoking much WOW. I dont blame it being cold either that was a little excessive.
Yeah, cometic head gaskets on both.

where did you hook up the water lines? i just got a gt30 for my car and i am not sure where the lines go

Cut both the heater core feed and return lines in half at a distance that the turbo's coolant feed and return lines can easily reach. Insert coolant T splice in line on both the heater core hoses and then hook up the coolant hoses from the turbo to the heater core lines.

thanks man ! one last question do you guys know what that tap on the side of the block is ?
gt3040toyota 3 years ago
If youre talking about the tap with the bolt in it behind the header, its probably for a coolant or oil line, but Im not 100% sure which it is for

Was the tuning much harder using the blow thru setup?
tc2nv 3 years ago
Much easier if using a MAP sensor for boost and the MAF for vac tuning, but a little tricky if just using MAF.
