Modern Day Siddhartha In A World of Corruption?

This is my friend Deborah Langor's (New Zealand) spoken word poetry "Harsh Day of Light" set to a re-edited version of Ricky Martin's video "Vuelve"

"Harsh Light of Day" is like a modern day Siddhartha. A man who has the finer things in life becomes aware of the atrocities others face in life and to do something about it gives the most meaning to his life. Be it human trafficking, genoicide, GMO & cloned food or fluoridating the water (other countries have neither found these to be safe in the long-term nor anymore beneficial), treatment of the poor during catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina, Police Brutality, wars over oil, etc.

Ricky Martin runs a Foundation that advocates for the well being of children around the globe in critical areas such as social justice, education and health.
