  • Yes, you are right, I would never say this in a job interview. But it's the truth, some people, like me, are not teamplayers!

I'm an introvert and I'm a highly sensitive person (HSP). I can't function in busy environments. I know that this is not good, but there is nothing I can do about.

    it.

  • yes, true! I understand what you say - living with a high level of social anxiety can be a tough challenge

  • I disagree with this message. Not everyone is a teamplayer. Some people can function much better in a quieter environment.....

People are different. I would prefer working alone in a room than with other people because people and noise etc. are very distracting to me...

  • How do you think you will do at a job interview if you say something like that? will those who want to hire you like it or not? Tell them what they want to her if you want the job... Imagine that you are competing with a real tema player, someone who is highly skilled socially - with same qualifications, who do you think they will choose?

  • Do you have any advice on how to go about looking for job opportunities? Both online and off. I never even get to the point were I have interviews.

  • I would need to speak with you live to check some key solid power kick strategies... Where are you located? age? background and type of work you are looking for?

  • @kuunami You may be right. There was a research showing that people with foreign names have less chance of being invited for an interview. This is a problem for some recruiters and interviewers, but I don't care. I dont want to work for people who discriminate on any basis, so if they don/t want to invite me because I dont have an English name- it's their loss..

  • P.S I have an African name and friends have told me that they believe that may play a part in why people don't call me for interviews.
